1946Royal Enfield G350 Engine Size: 350cc First Produced: 1946
Air cooled, single cylinder OHV engine. A rigid framed model with the new telescopic front fork, as modest priced basic transport it sold well. |

1947 Royal Enfield J2 500 Engines: 499cc First Produced: 1947
Air cooled, 499cc ohv single twin port engine with a 4 speed transmission. A rigid framed telescopic fork model, it offered a flashy twin port exhaust system - twin exhaust pipes one each side of the bike. |

1949 Royal Enfield Bullet Engine Size: 346cc First Produced: 1930
Air cooled, 346cc single OHC engine coupled to a 4 speed gearbox & chain final drive. A number of changes were implemented after WWII in order to bring the bike up-to-date. This model featured a vertical engine with alloy head and higher compression. The frame was changed to a fully sprung design using a swing-arm with non-adjustable hydraulic shocks at the rear. |

692 cc air-cooled overhead valve parallel-twin engine coupled to a 4 speed transmission & chain drive. In 1953, the US export market led Royal Enfield to develop a 692 cc, overhead valve twin capable of 100 mph (160 km/h). |

Originally with 52 bhp with “R” cams and single TT carb for 1958 & 59 and twin carbs for 1960 to 62; Weak bottom end proved unreliable & progressively detuned to 40 bhp to make it more reliable. Unique scissor-action clutch operation. For 1961 & 62 a "bathtub" model with a unique fiberglass rear end was also sold. |
