Aprilia first started making motorcycles at the end of the 1960's & are generally well known for their dirt track and enduro machines. Since then they have gone on to make a huge variety of road, race & track bikes. The early Aprilia models are now quite rare, but it is worth looking for machines & spare parts available through Ebay in the countries listed below, you never know what luck you might have!!. 1970 Aprilia Scarabeo Engine Size: 50cc & 125cc First Produced: 1970
This was the first production motorcycle to be manufactured by Aprilia & was available with 50cc & 125cc engines. Production of this model continued up to the mid seventies. |

1977 Aprilia RC Engine Size: 125cc First Produced: 1974
Developed from the earlier model the RC was suitable both for road & track use. It was a very popular bike at the time & continued in production until 1983. |

1982 Aprilia ST Engine Size: 124cc First Produced: 1982
Powered by a water cooled two stroke single cylinder engine coupled to a six speed gearbox. This was considered an ideal machine for those wishing to take up track riding for the first time. |

1985 Aprilia ETX 350 Engine: 125cc & 350cc First Produced: 1985
The 350cc model had a four stroke air cooled engine with a 5 speed gearbox. The ETX 350 was one of the most popular models ever built by Aprilia & remained in production well into the twenty first century. |

1985 Aprilia STX 125 Engine Size: 125cc First Produced:: 1985
A slightly restyled version of the earlier ST model. Still powered by a two stroke single cylinder engine & six speed gearbox producing around 21hp at 8000rpm. |

1985 Aprilia Tuareg 125 Rally Engine Size: 124cc First Produced: 1985
An uprated version of previous 125cc models. It developed 25hp at 9000rpm & had a top speed of 81mph. The Tuareg continued to be refined over the next few years & 250cc, 350cc & 600cc were produced. |

1986 Aprilia Prototipo AF1 Engine Size: 50cc & 123cc First Produced: 1984
The AF1 caused a sensation with its radical styling when it was first introduced in 1984 with a 50cc engine. It meant that young people could now ride a bike that emulated those of their racing heros. The 125cc version was introduced in 1986. |
